Front Line Defenders – Protection GrantsLocation: Location: International | Workplace: On site
In 2001 Front Line Defenders launched its Protection Grants programme, to provide rapid and practical financial support to human rights defenders at risk. Protection Grants can pay for provisions to improve the security and protection of human rights defenders and their organisations.
An overview of types of support can be found here. Grants are for amounts up to a maximum of €7,500. Click here to submit an application. Human rights defenders receiving grants are required to submit a short written report, and include copies of all original receipts, on completion of their project.
