PhD students, postdocs and senior academics in the humanities and social sciences who do research on the history and culture of Eastern Europe from the Early Middle Ages up to the present. Academics from Ukraine (independent of their nationality) as well as from Belarus and Russia (if they distance themselves from the regime) can apply.
Fellowships offer 1.500 EUR per month. Additional subsidies (for families or materials) are possible.
