Mentoring programme
The UNE mentoring programme supports, firstly, students, scholars, and cultural workers affected by the Russian war in Ukraine and, secondly, students, scholars, and cultural workers at risk in other East-Central, Eastern European and Central-Asian localities.
Our mentoring programme is supported by a team of assistants and volunteers who create matches between international scholars and professionals and students, scholars, and cultural workers at risk. In 2025, the UNE mentoring team conducts its work with support from the Dutch Foundation for Media & Democracy.

Please watch our introductory video here or have a look at the FAQ. In this video we introduce the mentoring programme as a cooperation of UNE with other organizations. For safety reasons, the mentoring programme is currently run as a stand-alone UNE project.
