To help support academics and artists who have fled Ukraine and the Russian Federation in the hopes on continuing their work, the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar will be offering four fellowships. The fellowships will support researchers with up to 2,000 euros per month for a period of 12 months. Mentors from the individual faculties will provide appropriate support.

Eligible are:

PhD candidates, for a support of 1,200 euros per month

PostDocs, for a support of 2,000 euros per month

Artists or architects who do not hold nor pursue a doctorate may be supported depending on the faculty's assessment of the candidate.
